Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk ATAY, a faculty member of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, briefed the Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN, on the ongoing scholarly project concerning the publication of the complete works (külliyat) of Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil.
Hosted by Karabük University and carried out with the participation of 34 universities and institutions, the project has reached its final stage. During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. ATAY provided detailed information regarding the scope, editorial process, and current status of the publication.
The completion of Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil’s collected works represents a significant contribution to Turkish literary studies, ensuring the systematic publication and academic accessibility of a major figure in Ottoman and early Republican literature.
