An information meeting was held with research assistants of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Karabük University within the scope of SocialFest 2026, which will be organized under the leadership of Karabük University and hosted by Istanbul University.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided regarding the objectives, scope, and organizational structure of SocialFest 2026, as well as the roles and responsibilities that research assistants may undertake throughout the process. The importance of academic coordination and active contribution to the festival was particularly emphasized.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇINAR and Assist. Prof. Dr. Samet GÜVEN, Vice Deans of the Faculty, Ergün BAKIRCIK, Faculty Secretary, and Res. Assist. Dr. Yasemin ERDOĞAN ÖZTÜRK, Faculty SocialFest Coordinator. The participants shared information on faculty-based planning, coordination processes, and the contribution of research assistants to SocialFest 2026 activities.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, allowing research assistants to express their views and receive clarification on the implementation process.
