The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Karabük University held a meeting on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at 14:00 in the Şehit Fırat Yılmaz Çakıroğlu Conference Hall as part of its ongoing quality assurance and student engagement activities. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇINAR and Assist. Prof. Dr. Samet GÜVEN, department quality commission members, academic advisors, and student representatives of all years participated in the meeting.


In line with the university's quality assurance policy, the meeting was organised to evaluate academic and administrative conduct, share the latest updates on the faculty, and receive feedback, comments, and suggestions from the student representatives.

These meetings aim to document quality-related activities, share information regarding university-wide policies and announcements, communicate recent developments within the faculty, and collect participants’ opinions, suggestions, and concerns to support continuous improvement. During the meeting, participants evaluated faculty teaching practices, and students provided feedback on academic practices. The participants discussed measures to enhance student satisfaction and potential improvements to administrative procedures. The exchange of ideas contributed to strengthening the culture of quality and provided valuable insights into ongoing institutional development efforts.

During the meeting, student representatives shared their suggestions and identified key areas for possible improvement. The faculty administration emphasised that maintaining such constructive and open communication with students plays a vital role in enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of the faculty.
