Students visiting Karabük from Mersin within the scope of the Evliya Çelebi Student Exchange Program conducted by the General Directorate of Religious Education under the Ministry of National Education continue to participate in various educational and cultural activities as part of the program.

Within this framework, 15 students and 4 teachers from Mersin Şehit Kübra Doğanay Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, who were hosted in the city by Karabük Kardemir Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, visited the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Karabük University.

During the visit, students were provided with comprehensive information about the university and the faculty. Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇINAR, faculty member of the Department of Geography Dr. Cemil İRDEM, graduate students Senanur AÇAR and Vatan GÖL, as well as Geography Department Secretary Gülsün GÜDENDEDE met with the students and introduced the academic structure of the faculty, its departments, educational activities, and the opportunities offered to students. They also answered questions regarding university life and higher education.

Throughout the visit, the students had the opportunity to closely observe the university environment and gain valuable insights into academic careers and higher education processes. The program is expected to contribute to the students’ future educational planning and academic aspirations.
