The “Vision Meetings” program organized by the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of National Education continued with the theme of “Educational Leadership and Academic Success.” The event brought together school administrators and teachers from across Kastamonu, drawing significant participation.

As the keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Ali Çağatay KILINÇ, Chair of the Department of Educational Sciences at Karabük University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, emphasized the crucial role of school leadership in shaping student achievement. He highlighted that the leadership behaviors exhibited by school principals directly influence teachers’ motivation and professional development.

Prof. Dr. KILINÇ also pointed out that school climate affects not only academic outcomes but also achievements in sports, culture, and the arts. He explained that effective leadership behaviors foster a sense of belonging among students and contribute to improving school-wide performance.

The session continued interactively with questions and feedback from participants, leading to a shared awareness that strengthening the quality of educational leadership is a key driver of student success.
